Add some cheap Kinect feature to a game just to get a "Compatible with Kinect" sticker on the box. One of the big benefits of Kinect is its potential to enhance the games we already enjoy playing. Having voice recognition in an NBA game so you can play like a real point guard, shouting and motioning your other players into position would be awesome. Tacking on "realistic" free-throw shooting would be dumb.Kinect has a lot of potential, but it also has a number of pitfalls that must be avoided. Hopefully Microsoft is up to the task.
